Mark DesLauriers, CPA, CA

CEO and Founder

Mark leads our fractional CFO practice and is very passionate about sharing his vast financial and operational business knowledge to help entrepreneurs and CEOs get a handle on their finances and start realizing their goals.

Some facts about Mark:

  • 30 years diverse financial & operational business experience, from owner-managed start ups through multi-location global organizations
  • A lifelong entrepreneur with a history of transforming and scaling businesses
  • A CPA and Chartered Accountant from Ontario, Canada
  • A graduate of University of Waterloo’s world class accounting program
  • Six years experience with PwC, a Big 4 accounting and advisory firm
  • Provided CFO level services to some notable leading class organizations such as: Honda, Johnson & Johnson, Air Miles, Air Canada, and IBM
  • A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with expertise in process optimization, waste reduction, and Voice of Customer strategies
  • Delivered executive coaching and corporate training workshops using daily operational scorecards, integrating Stephen Covey’s principles “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”
  • 7 mergers & acquisitions completed
  • 10 ERP implementations completed – on time & on budget
  • Head coach, President, and Board chair for Barrie Baydogs Triathlon Club (2012-2020)
  • 2x Ironman triathlon finisher
  • Boston Marathon finisher
  • Avid hiker, with goal of completing the entire Bruce Trail
  • A family man – proud father of two beautiful young ladies, and grandpa of one
